The highly acclaimed Fallout TV show has passed another noteworthy milestone. Its official Twitter (X) account shared that over 100 million viewers worldwide have watched it. This means the Fallout TV show is now the second most-watched series on Amazon Prime Video after The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, which wraps up its second season tomorrow.

It’s yet another sign of the successful first season created by Kilter Films, Amazon MGM Studios, and Bethesda Game Studios. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy produced the show, and Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet ran it. Following its immense popularity, the showrunners have said the Fallout TV show may end up running for five seasons.

The first one earned itself 16 nominations at the Primetime Emmy Awards: Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes, Outstanding Stunt Coordination For Drama Programming, Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Period Or Fantasy Program (One Hour Or More),
Outstanding Picture Editing For A Drama Series (The End episode), Outstanding Picture Editing For A Drama Series (The Ghouls episode), Outstanding Main Title Design,
Outstanding Period Or Fantasy/Sci-Fi Makeup (Non-Prosthetic), Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup,
Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series (Walton Goggins), Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour; The Target episode), Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour; The Target episode), Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Season Or A Movie, Outstanding Stunt Performance,
Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series, and Outstanding Music Supervision. It won only the last category.

It may fare better with the second season, which will see the main characters going to New Vegas, and fans are already excited about the prospect of seeing that location again after the beloved Fallout: New Vegas game. Meanwhile, Bethesda continues to update Fallout 76 (which saw a noticeable boost following the show’s release on Prime Video). A few weeks ago, the game got the Milepost Zero update, which introduced Legendary Crafting, a new C.A.M.P. feature called Best Builds, improvements to combat across all platforms for free, and a new questline that allows players to escort caravans across the Shenandoah region and make deliveries while being on guard for raiders and creatures. Players can also recruit a strong crew of varying professions to build up their own personal outpost in Fallout 76.
